We are working on a social networking community based around academic competitions for a client. The initial application is geared around Latin competitions also known as Certamen.

Latin for “Competition”, Certamen is a quiz bowl-style competition with classic-themed questions. Topics range from the Latin grammar and vocabulary to Latin-based etymology, Roman history and culture, and classical mythology.

Developed in Ruby-on-Rails, our programmers are in the process of reading and implementing the Certamen algorithms. This new site will be geared toward classics organizations and leagues that participate in state forums and conventions.

This week, we started a new Construction based software project using Magento, EXT JS, and Zend Framework.

We are using all three technologies listed above for our client and creating a collaboration hub for multiple independent users or companies working on a single construction project. This way, users can coordinate, communicate and schedule efforts online in a real-time environment. They will also be able to monitor overall project progress and receive real time project completion status, inspection status, updates and progress reports.

More and more clients are approaching us with Magento projects. We have expert programming staff able to meet the client’s needs. Whether the client is using just Magento or a combination of technologies, we have experienced developers ready to tackle your next project.

PHP is widely used in many software applications. While it was originally created for web development, it is mainly used today for server side scripting – providing dynamic content from a web server to a client.
