A. Nextbridge is working from three different locations on three different continents for administrative reasons with major concentration of development activities at Lahore Office.

Q.4.How does Nextbridge ensures technical support globally?
A. Nextbridge is a technology base company. We can easily provide technical support via internet using various tools.

Q.5.What is ‘IT Outsourcing’ and what is ‘Offshore Outsourcing’?
A. In the first sense, “IT outsourcing” means hiring somebody outside your company to provide IT services. Outsourcing is most common for companies whose IT needs are well known in advance. IT outsourcing can also mean hiring someone to be your IT department. Q.7.Who are the programmers and where are they located?
A. Our team is located in Lahore, Pakistan.

Q.8.Do offshore programmers write code in their native language?
A. All code is written using the same tools employed by developers in the U.S., and in English. Development team members have strong English skills and good virtual communication skills. The Client has the opportunity to work with the team leader and review blueprints as they are prepared and will thus are able to very quickly assess the team’s communication skills.

Q.9 Is there a language barrier when dealing with offshore developers?
We recognize that the poor communication skills and the language barrier being two major problems many organizations face while getting software developed, offshore.

All Nextbridge employees are hired from leading universities where English is the primary medium of education. All employees have at least a bachelor degree in their relative discipline.

Q.10. Offshore to Pakistan or Vietnam? I am not sure!
Pakistan has been an ally of US since the cold war. Whether it was fight against the Soviet Union, in Afghanistan, or fight with Taliban, Pakistan has been there for US and US always had pleasant relationship with Pakistan. Off shoring to Pakistan is not a new phenomenon for US companies. Pakistan companies have proven to produce high quality goods for a very long time. As an example, Pakistan is the second largest exporter of Textile and garments goods in the world, including the US. Pakistan is also famous for its sports goods and expensive carpets.

Ex CEO of HP, Carly Fiornia once said that U.S. companies that send jobs and services offshore can make the world safer, wealthier and bring stability to countries with growing populations.

Q.12 Will getting software written offshore cause any internal IT job losses?
If it does, the reality is it was going to happen anyway. In a global economy, if competitors are benefiting from lower cost/high quality software, everyone is forced to match or risk obsolescence. The best assurance of long-term secure employment for any department in any business is to be as productive and efficient as possible. Whether that means having software developed offshore or not is solely your decision to make.
